Are cramps and light bleeding normal three weeks after Mirena insertion?

I had a Mirena inserted nearly 3 weeks ago. Had a hysteroscopy and biopsy at the same time. Pretty sore and crampy for a few days after, and intermittent cramps for the new 10 days or so

Last week I had a few days of no cramps at all and thought everything had settled down. Pretty bad cramps started again on Friday, along with a very light bleed. No cramps or bleeding yesterday, but both again today. Also feeling EXHAUSTED, although this may partly be the awful heat and humidity in London

I can feel the Mirena strings and don't feel otherwise unwell. Does this all sound normal for the early days of Mirena? Thanks

It sounds a lot better than when I had mine fitted as I had 5 weeks of horrendous bleeding, eventually settled in and I've had no problems for years now
