Experiences of stopping Slynd

Hi

I've been on slynd for 5 months and its been great mostly because it has reduced my migraines to virtually none but I have had 2 episodes of prolonged bleeding! The first wasn't too bad as it was light but lasted 10 days. But this epidode is much heavier and came with migraine and still ongoing 2 weeks and counting. There has also been random spotting on and off outside of these episodes. I'm fed up.

I'm thinking about just making today my last pill so just wanted to hear how others have been when they have stopped it.

Thanks in advance 😊

I stopped last month as couldn’t stop bleeding on it. I felt like I ovulated pretty quickly and now having my first period which is very heavy and painful. Other than that I feel much better. Hormonal contraception definitely isn’t for me . Hope it goes ok

Thanks fo replying, I've had 2 days free I do feel better actually, I'm still bleeding but it's lighter and no cramps. I think I'm the same no more hormones for me. At least with my periods I know roughly when they will be and what to expect and how to manage it, when it's everyday stop start, different amounts it's exhausting! X
