Vaginal moisturizer for life???

Hello all
For anyone who had and then treated vaginal atrophy with topical estrogen - did you find in the end you could stop using vaginal moisturisers like YES, Sulk or Replens completely? As in after treatment kicked in, did you provide enough of own lubrication to be comfortable? I'm thinking in day to day life more than sex.
I'm just wondering whether I'll be using these products for life which I find rather depressing. I realise the topical estrogen is for ever though
Interested to hear your thoughts.

Yes exactly this. Vagifem internally and Ovestin externally as often as i feel I need it.

I'm only using oestrogen twice a week after 1 month of using it nightly. Is that what you do with topical oestrogen? I'm worried I'm not doing enough.

I don't really use any of the moisturiser products you mention. Are they good?

I have never used the vaginal moisturisers you being but I use vagifem and this seems to be enough

I use non hormonal Dr Wolff's V-San cream twice a week. It has been game changing for me. Gone from painful sex a few times a year when I could bear it, to totally self lubricating, pleasurable, sex a few times a week.

It has also removed the awful vulval burning I had post menopause and allowed me to ride a bike again 🙂

I been using Mounjaro to lose weight and my lichens sclerosis has miraculously cleared up! 😳

I haven’t had to use any steroid creams in months.
