Worried adenomyosis / endo

I had a pelvic scan on Monday due to heavy bleeding , spotting , cramps , bleeding after sex and bloated stomach. The results are back as abnormal. The scan was apparently poor quality due to bowel gas ( being full of gas is one of the things I’ve had for the last few months ) but it showed possible adenomyosis and pelvic congestion.

ive been referred to gynaecologist for a hysteroscopy , told that it could also be endo and if they think it might be that then I’ll need a laparoscopy.

can they see endo on a hysteroscopy? What would prompt them to do a laparoscopy?

I’ve been on hrt for 2 years and changed to continuous hrt 6 months ago. For the last 20 years I’ve felt ill around periods with dizziness , weird head pressure and light headedness etc etc which I was told was migraines (but I don’t think it fits) and I went on continuous hrt to see if I was better on it.

I once explained to a gynaecologist how I feel ill every period and she very dismissivly said ‘could be endo but your 47 so your periods will stop in a few years anyway’ and that was that.

I’m feeling all a bit confused.
i’m quite scared it could be endometrial cancer too.
