Yellow-green discharge and itching but clear test results

Sorry about this not being a very nice topic. I went to the doctor last week as I'd been having itching and some discharge. It was a weird colour - a yellowy-green colour. Not every day, and not a lot, but it was there. Sometimes it smelled sour. All the tests have come back clear. It's not sexually transmitted, I know that for sure. What the hell could it be?

Bacterial vaginosis.

Test results are not always accurate so ask them to treat the patient not the symptom / diagnosis - they will understand - should get antibiotics.

Bacterial vaginosis.

Exactly what I thought in the first place which is why I went.

If it is BV please remember that men do pass it on, so your partner will also need treatment so you don't repeatedly get re-infected, even if he has no symptoms.
