Stopping mini pill age 54 with PCOS

Hi I’ve had my annual HRT & Pill check today.
I’m 54 and have taken the mini pill (Cerelle) for around 10 years after it was found I had PCOS and it helped with horrendous bleeding etc.
I had my last period May 25 and the nurse is asking if I want to stop the mini pill now.

I’m actually quite anxious about stopping it and PCOS symptoms returning, as I’ve had no other medication/help over the years. I was initially told by an NHS Consultant ’oh you’ve probably Endometriosis too, but we’re not looking into that as you weren’t sent for it!’ 😵‍💫

Has anyone been in a similar situation? I was hoping PCOS disappeared after Menopause! 😂
