Ovarian cysts

Over the past 18 months my stomach has got bigger and bigger but I couldn’t work out why. I’ve also had problems with constipation. I figured it was perimenopause related but turns out I have an 8cm ovarian cyst that needs to be removed via keyhole surgery.

Couple of questions for people who’ve had experience of ovarian cysts:

Did you have any bowel problems that resolved after you had it removed?
Did you experience your stomach looking distended which reduced after surgery??

Twice had dermoid cysts and had an ovary removed each time. Stomach maybe a little bigger st the time but not much, my first got to 20 week pregnancy size within me. No bowel problems. Hope you have your op soon and your other symptoms resolve.
