Does anyone else have trouble with binge-eating crisps, chocolates, sugary snacks etc and what did you find helped? Thanks :)

Yes, I used to do this. I stopped buying them and refused to have them in the house (unless the kids eat them straight away). I also live with a chocoholic husband and we also keep him away from chocolates and sweets now that he has been recently diagnosed with diabetes. Also, trips to the local shop is kept to a minimum for both of us, and we buy groceries online.

I have more dried fruit, and if I am really struggling I have one cup of hot chocolate (one that isn't too tasty!).

Thank you! I will definitely try that. For me, I usually tend to eat things I shouldn't almost every day so I tried limiting it to one day. So far, I'm two weeks in, and...doing moderately. But I'm just worried that I might relapse which would be really bad for my health in the long term.

Yes, I have to not have them in the house. I have no off button for these things and I'm sure I will end up with diabetes. That alone scares me a lot of the time but not enough!!

Also, I read this thing that said when you crave sweet, have something salty or something with lemon. It realigns your taste buds in an impulsive moment.

That's interesting! I've never heard of that, but it makes sense. Thank you!
