I am trying to find anyone with any similar experience. I have a blood spot on my breast and below it theres a blue vein runs across which ‘dents’ in. I have been referred to the breast clinic but has anyone had this happen before? Im going down a rabbit hold (see picture of blood dot) i originally thought it was a menstrual thing but its just there. It use to come and go but has been there about 6-8months now

I have something similar and I asked about it during an all-body mole check. The nurse was confident it was a cherry angioma, benign and common. Mine's flat but they can also be raised. Good luck with your referral and hopefully it's the same.

Iv had one for years! Mine is bigger than your cherry spot. I asked the nurse years ago and she said it was a cherry angioma and they happen as we age

Decacaffeinatednow · 15/07/2026 12:30

Would you describe the 'dents' as being like orange peel?

PersephoneSeethes · 16/07/2026 22:35

I’ve had several of these for decades. My mother had the same thing. Asked my cosmetic GP about them and she said they were quite normal and benign.

herbalteabag · 16/07/2026 22:40

I have one. I have not sought any advice about it as I'm sure it is a cherry angioma. I have them in other places too. I also have blue veins, I just assumed that was normal.

Carzycat · 16/07/2026 23:21

I’ve the dot and I’d say it’s likely not connected to the “dents” which are more likely to be the concern. How long ago did you notice them?

Thisishard25 · 16/07/2026 23:49

It’s not really the dot concerning me as such, I’m only asking if anyone has had any experience if it can be connected with any breast issues. Also the vein is not just the concern, its the buldge and dent. Anyway my practice nurse clearly thought it was something to get checked out as she felt what and seen it too.. just have to wait for the appointment to come up.. hopefully soon enough 🤞 Thanks for all your comments.
