Stage Four Endo Excision Surgery

Hi

After waiting two years the hospital are suddenly pressuring me to have endo excision surgery (I am desperate for treatment, but they have done their best to bump me to the bottom of the list and cancel appts repeatedly).

I know they don’t stage it now, but I was told it would be stage four, and I have bowel involvement, making it a joint procedure with colorectal.

I haven’t even met my consultant bar a six minute phone call. I’m terrified of them removing my ovaries or fallopian tubes or just permanently destroying my fertility. They can’t even tell me who would operate on me on the day.

Has anyone got any recent experience of a similarly complex endo excision op? Am I over worrying?
