Bleeding on mini pill at 41 could this be perimenopause?

Hi everyone, hoping your collective wisdom can offer some assistance.
I'm 41, 2 children, 12 and 5.

I have been taking the mini pill since the birth of my last child, for contraceptive reasons and to control hormonal migraine. I haven't had a period in that time.

Around 4 weeks ago, I had really sore nipples, and ewcm. 7 days later I started a bleed which lasted 7 days. It stopped for 3 days, but has now started again. I have been taking the pill at the same time every day, no gaps at all.

Do you think this is something I should speak to the doctor about?
Could it be the start of peri?
Should I continue with the pill, or stop taking it and let my body go 'back to normal'?

Any help or opinions would be gratefully received.
