Elavate collagen conflicting and confusing dosage information...help please.

I have been taking 12g of the chocolate flavoured collagen superblend as written on the packet itself.
I have reached out to the company and said that the bag is barely lasting 20 days if that which doesn't seem right for my automated subscription once a month. I'd run out ages before a new one comes. They said 12g is the right dose. I said I am going on holiday and they offered me travel sachets. They are 5g...I questioned this. She said its OK to just have 5g as a lighter dose to keep consistency.

Well 5g and 12g are far from consistent. Their website says 8g is about right.
What the hell... WHAT IS THE RIGHT DOSE... IM GOING MAD.
Thank you...frustrating situation.

@Siorby1988 I had this exact query, so I messaged them as the packet says 2 teaspoons but the email I received said tablespoons.
I’ve attached the reply email image so might take a few mins but the response was it’s two teaspoons. I have read that so many people are running out and that the packet is not a months worth, but I’m thinking they’re likely using the wrong dose as the packet does last me a month using teaspoons.

Thank you for your reply. I do feel they are not clear at all in their dosing info. I too reached out and I'll add the reply in the first email then a completely different answer in a 2nd email from the same team. Ill also add the website info. Maybe we can all puzzle together what the right amount for our bodies is supposed to be lol.

lol no, it certainly isn’t clear is it! I’m actually using two level tsps, (of the chocolate) which is just about lasting a month, so I definitely don’t think two heaped ones would last the month. However, I have still noticed some improvements after two months, and as I have been having some medical issues for a couple of years, it’s definitely a bonus for me.

Elevate are really pushing this product hard through influencers and seemingly anyone with a profile. I even saw Janet Street Porter flogging it recently. There are cheaper alternatives.

Juicyapple44 · 16/06/2026 09:49

I use the cheaper nutrition geeks, that is two level table spoons and does last a month. I had been looking at this one as it contains the marine collagen too, but it just works out too expensive and has less grams per serving

I have been taking this since February this year. I haven’t subscribed, I didn’t want to get tied in.I just buy as & when I need it.

i use a 2/3 tablespoon, and when I use scales to check the weight of the portion it comes in at around 9g. The bags last a month using this spoon. I got it from Amazon…

My joints are less creaky, especially my fingers but I have also lost weight so that may be why things are improving! However, mixed with Greek yogurt the powder makes a nice dessert so will keep with it for now.

DizzyWaltzer · 16/06/2026 10:08

Sorry, should have said, I use Elevate.

Piknik · 16/06/2026 10:10

I’ve been doing level tablespoon for about 6 months. Now feel stupid.

DizzyWaltzer · 16/06/2026 10:33

Don’t feel stupid, the dose information is all over the place! It says on the website each bag has 20 - 40 portions, the nutritional info says a portion is 12g - 12 x 30 is 360g, the bag is only 230g! 9g is working for me but the figures are making me feel it’s all a bit “smoke & mirrors” so I may look elsewhere.

SmotherhoodandApplePie · 17/06/2026 11:04

I'm thinking it's a bit of a con. Using their own guidelines i measure 12g daily and it lasts 20 days per pack. So you don't get enough product to 'see' any results before you have to order another at least 2 packs.
I will run out of the last of 3 packs on day 60 so obviously will have to decide whether its worth ordering again.
also 2 weeks after delivery they kept asking for a review. So I don't think the reviews can be trusted either. 🤔

Siorby1988 · 17/06/2026 17:37

Thank you everyone for your message. Im. Im going to move down to two flat teaspoons and go for 8g...I do feel like weve caught them out with this bs tbh. It's definitely something they are aware of if everyone is raising the issues.
