I’ve had enough

4 weeks ago, i had a confirmed UTI nitrites and leukocytes with blood although i was having a period so not sure. Treated with 3 days nitro

still having pain in my bladder - given 7 days cefalexin.
came off those, still felt rough and had pain in my pelvis/bladder area.
went to a&e, had some blood tests with some raised inflammation markers, infection & a high crp
was told urine infection and given co-amoxiclav for 7 days.

had a GP appointment on monday urine dipped (clear)
another GP appointment this morning as i’m feeling rough again but also started my period again.

she’s dipped my urine and blood which could be period but also nitrites and has given me 7 days nitro

any advice? has anybody had similar? i’ve been practically bed ridden with anxiety i just feel helpless

Hi x I think I replied to you on your other thread about this? The nhs labs only test for certain bacteria. Google Regenerus Labs. They test for all sorts of different bacteria. Think the test is quite expensive but worth it. They can also go through the results with you and prescribe the correct antibiotics. I know what it’s like to have bladder pain and be paralysed with fear. Try not to worry.
