Residual bladder pain and inflammation weeks after a UTI

has anybody had residual inflammation for weeks after a UTI which has given bladder pains?

I’ve had it. I never really got an answer for it medically but I suspected the infection hadn’t cleared 100% but my body took a while to get over it. I don’t know for certain though. Mine did go back to normal completely in time and I haven’t had pain for years now.
Have you had another urine test to check if the infection has completely cleared?

i just have residual pain in my bladder, it’s just strange because nothing else hurts!
i never even had burning or stinging with a confirmed UTI it was the bladder pain.
it’s tender right in the middle of my bladder where the GP pushes it. Urine test is clear she does want to do another one though which i need to take in tomorrow.

Ah ok. If you were older it could be related to menopause. I hope you get some answers from your doctor soon x
