First time on the combined pill: bleeding during the seven day break

hoping someone can help haha I have sent a request to my dr but it hasn’t been responded to yet

so it’s my first time on the combined pill, I’ve taken it for 3 weeks, now I have my 7 day gap where I assume I’ll have a bleed! So I’ll be due to start taking the pill again on Monday, but my questions are - what if I haven’t started bleeding yet? And what if I have started bleeding but haven’t stopped?! Do I just stick to the timings and days that are set? I’m assuming I can take it whilst bleeding? God I sound stupid I’m 35 years old and I have absolutely no idea about it

Just take the pill as normal when you’re due to restart it. Your body will take a few cycles to get used to the pill so you might not even have a bleed the first month or so.
