Vagina sharp twinges

Pelvic and bladder prolapse- still day to day manageable - now getting weird sharp twinge like nerve pain ? inside vagina on and off.
sudden needley twinges - worried what’s going on .

Are you using vaginal estrogen if you are 40 plus? Might help if it is GSM related?

Javelin arse? Appreciate vaginas aren't arses but thought could be similar symptoms?

I get twinges as a precursor for javelin arse usually during then day javelin arse at night time so the 2 are definitely linked .

What is javelin arse?

I get them so frequently 😪 I think they're linked to my rectocele, but I get them vaginally.

Proctalgia fugax - didn't realise it had a proper name!

I always used to get javelin vagina and arse linked to hormone imbalance/ PCOS/ Adeno and Endo. Sometimes I get milder versions of these now but coil has helped a lot.

It’s more like short zaps / nerve type sting

@Jmess even so if you are peri age bear it in mind. I have pain rather than soreness or itchiness so atypical syy. Lack of hormones also affect your pelvic floor muscles
