C section lump 4 years later

Hello, just a heads up I am off to the doctors tomorrow but can’t help but stress and worry whilst I wait to be seen.

I had a c section nearly 4 years ago and since then never really felt or looked too much into my scar. I have recently lost some weight around a stone and naturally examined the area a bit more whilst prepping for holiday and noticed on the ride side a lump at the end of the scar. The end the lump is on seems to be the thicker end of the scar so assumed it could be scar tissue. I was wondering if anybody else has experienced this. It’s about the size of a small grape, feels firm and is directly under the scar.

thank you,
Georgia xx

I would assume a keloid, completely normal and harmless.
I have a hernia after my C-section 4 years ago, want to trade?

I had something similar after my C-section and it turned out to be scar tissue. It’s good you’re getting it checked, but hopefully it’s nothing serious.
