Very irregular periods whilst breastfeeding

Hey everyone so still feeding my 2 year old. Had my period return when he was 20 months old then had a 6 week cycle till next one, then a 4 week cycle. After the 4 week cycle, 2 weeks unto the new cycle I had 3 days of spotting and now currently 6 weeks since last cycle and still no period. Is this normal?

Also absolutely no way I can be pregnant!

Take a pregnancy test to rule it out and then you can just safely assume that (for now) breastfeeding is still impacting your cycle. Then make sure you're using reliable contraception.

@midnights92 thankyou for replying, husband has had a vasectomy so deffinatly not pregnant! Must be hormones then thankyou
