I have recently been diagnosed with endometriosis in my C-section scar. I am waiting for a laparoscopy, to remove the endometriosis.
I know this type of endometriosis is very rare so wondering if anyone has had this and would share their experiences? Recovery etc?
A little context leading to my story. My second child was born via C-section and following the birth I had heavy periods for a while, then noticed a lump in my scar which became more painful during periods. I saw the GP and had a few scans, no mention of what it was just that it was nothing sinister! Things were then left as I had two miscarriages and a third baby also via C-section.
Six months after my third child I had the coil fitted to help with heavy periods, but this didn’t help much.
Fast forward 2 years and here I am with my diagnosis awaiting treatment!
