Anyone had Bladder Botox

I have been thinking about this. I know there is a good chance I might need to self cath but I am just a bit confused as I have read I would need to self cath maybe 5 times a day but since I have frequency I would need to pee a lot more than that. I mean hopefully it would work and I would only need to go a few times but if it takes a while would I need to self cath about 20 times a day

Well there is a google I never thought I would do. I know nothing about your questions op however all the best as it sounds like it could be amazing even with the chance of self catherising.

My friend has this done once a year and its life changing for her. She has had no side effects and doesn't need to self catheter, she's had it done for the past 7 years.

Hi Lara, I’m waiting to go in to hospital for this. I’ve no idea about self cath but I suspect it’s such a rare side effect that I’m not giving it anymore thought.

I don’t really wanna Google this, what does bladder Botox do?

one of my team has just had this and seems to be fine. She was at work next day and has not had to self catheterise.

My daughter has had this and waiting to get it redone - no side effects here, only positives. She needs it every 6 months. For those wondering it can be for an overactive bladder that doesn't respond to medication.
Best of luck.
