Is there anyone on here with this diagnosis, preferably in the UK?
I've been struggling with this for 5 months and would love to talk to someone else and compare notes.

Which diagnosis do you mean?

Sorry MN changed my title - I mean Smoldering Diverticulitis

I have diverticulosis seen by chance on colonoscopy for another issue. However for now anyway, I don't have any symptoms, just eat a high fibre diet, so I can't really help, sorry.

I came across this which might help. There are also diverticulitis support groups on Facebook, and they are often great sources of information about unusual diagnoses, maybe have a search if you haven't already.

Thank you. Mine is the opposite. I have to eat a Low Residue diet, so no fibre as I have almost constant diarrhoea. I need a Colonoscopy but need to be 6 - 8 weeks inflammation and infection free. I can't even manage 6 days!

All the support groups I have found have been US based.
