Experiences of MDT referral and hysterectomy waiting times for adenomyosis

Evening,
I was referred to gynaecology last June and was contacted in February to arrange blood tests and MRI before having a consultation.

MRI showed adenomyosis, had consultation today and will be referred to an MDT to discuss my case for a hysterectomy mainly because I am only 31.

I'm looking for others experiences on being referred to an MDT and then time to the operation after this. (I know it differs by trusts)

The consultant I saw today has said that he has explicitly stated on my notes for them not to reset my Referral to treatment time which is currently at 45 weeks waiting due to no definitive treatment being given yet.

I have already tried most options which is another reason he was happy to refer for hysterectomy as I have run out of most options.

Bumping this for you.
No experience I’m afraid. I have a diagnosis of adenomyosis from an ultrasound, and have an mri in a couple of weeks time.
