I am seven weeks but had two scans which almost certainly confirmed this is a blighted ovum (empty sac measuring 8mm.) Thevfurst was a private one but they told us to go straight to hospital to confirm it. We are sure of our dates. I feel sick and dizzy and crampy but no bleeding. The epu were sure it is a blighted ovum but cannot do surgery or medication for one week following a rescan. I don’t know what to decide and feel horrible physically and mentally. I don’t know whether I can conceive again, just devastated.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I’ve experienced it twice, and had both meds and surgical treatment. Surgery was infinitely better. The medical management, and experience of contracting and passing was awful. Sending you much positivity 💐

Thank you @LateMumma
how horrible to go through it twice. I think I’ll take surgery then xx

Either way is heartbreaking. Make sure you’re being kind to yourself xx

It's normal to feel devastated and uncertain. Take your time with decisions and talk to your doctor about your options.
