Has anyone had an actinic keratoses? I have one on my nose and my dermatologist said it's precancerous which is terrifying. He prescribed me a 5 day course of tirbanibulin cream to hopefully get rid of it. He said he could do cryotherapy on it but because it's my nose, he said it could leave a dimple mark as the nose is a very unforgiving area to have cryotherapy due to lack of skin there.

I have loads of them but they’re on my torso.

I had one frozen off and it hurt so much I was disinclined to do it again, especially as my doctor said they only very rarely become cancerous.

Yes, actinic keratosis is precancerous. Tirbanibulin cream is a good treatment option to avoid scarring, especially on the nose. It's normal to feel concerned, but this approach should help.

@Puzzled89 Think I may have this too, this is the only thread about this condition. Did you find treatment ok and hoping you are out the other side now.

Just had one frozen off the side of my nose 3 weeks ago. No scar or dimple.

Thanks, hopefully that's all I need too. Glad you are sorted.
