Menstrual cup not working any more.

I’ve been using a cup for years, never had any issues, but these last few months it just isn’t working for me. Seems to be fitted properly but leaks pretty much instantly, not even when full. It’s like there just isn’t any seal.
I’ve changed to a brand new cup to see if it was that the old one was worn out but that’s not the case.
The only other thing I can think of is that I have recently started HRT, I think this issue started at the same time but (probably due to the brain fog 🙄) can’t remember if I started having the problem before.

I'm still persevering but ending up reverting to pads.

What could the problem be be here? Do I just need to accept that my body has changed and go back to pads and tampons?

Mine is the same and due to a prolapse. Ots such a shame as I’ve used a moon cup since well before they were even trendy ish. Or maintain. I’m sure my first was 2002! But now I have to use period pants instead. :(

I don’t think I have a prolapse. I’m due to get a coil fitted soon I guess they’ll tell me if I do.

It is a shame, I’m wondering if I try a different brand. The brand I've used for years is just a cheap one from Amazon but hasn’t let me down until now. Any recommendations welcome.

I've always used them with a reusable pad because I find they sometimes leak. Mine sometimes isn't properly open even if I think it is.

I had this, not only did it leak but the bloody thing started moving around/ semi falling out especially when my period was less heavy. I bought a menstrual disc instead which resolved all those issues although now I’m post periods so didn’t get too much use out of it. Maybe try one of those instead of going back to throw away?

I assumed that was the case the first few times it happened but now it is every single time. I’m a seasoned user, I’d like to think I know how to get it right at least some of the time 🤣

Not heard of a disc, I’ll have a look, thanks.

I bought the saalt one and would recommend it. It tucks up behind your pubic bone and is very easy to use
