Hysteroscopy Results

Had a hysteroscopy 3 weeks ago as had abnormal thickened lining. Biospy done and polyps removed. and no results yet. Not a period either. Had some bleeding after for 3 days only little amount. Not had period for 2 months. Not pregnant. Feel very heavy and bloated tummy. No coil or mini pill yet. Is this normal time to wait??

If you have an email address for the gynae secretary chase the results in writing. I rang them after 4 weeks and was told to wait, so I did, for more weeks. When I emailed the results came back immediately (no issues at all) apparently my gp surgery were supposed to pass them on and a letter had been sent to me a couple of weeks after the procedure. Hmmm.

from a previous thread I think the wait varies hugely depending on the hospital.

I messaged GP and the message said they will send the results to gynaecology but thought it would be the other way around...

I waited 3 weeks and 6 days for the results to come through, they came in a letter. However I looked up the email of my consultant and emailed him after 3 weeks saying i needed the results and had been unable to get through on telephone, they rang me back to say a letter had been done the day before (very convenient?) And they emailed it through to my GP and read it aloud to me over the phone. So it is worth chasing it up with the hospital consultant, i just googled mine to find email address. Good luck!!!
