PCOS and contraception

Not sure I'm posting in the right topic so apologies if not.

I have PCOS and my periods are extremely irregular. I have 2 children now and want to start some kind of contraception but I tried the pill in the past and it didn't agree with me at all.

Just wondering if anyone else has found something that doesn't aggravate their symptoms? I don't want anything permanent as I might want another child yet.

Following OP because im in the same boat. I was also previously recommended the combined pill but now im overweight and nearly 40, I dont think thats recommended anymore. I was thinking about trying to book in for a consultation with the practice nurse for some advice.
