Gone on the pill - mad period

Ive been on the pill 4 weeks and didnt have the pill free week so I wasn't expecting a period.
Period started nearly 2 weeks ago and is still going. It's very light but I'm getting much worse cramps than usual and the cramps dont fit with it being so light.
It's years since I was last on the pill. Is this normal?

Well, I hope that it clears for you soon and it’s just your body adjusting. I was on Cerelle and it was fine and then the doctor put me on the same type but different brand, and then I bled for 12 weeks. They kept telling me it was my body adjusting and in the end I came off completely and it stopped.

Hope this won’t happen to you, but also, just in case the point of my story is please don’t waste loads of time believing the doctors that it will just get better if say after a month you are still bleeding.
