I'm 33. My periods have always been a little bit irregular, sometimes 45 or 54 days between them but on average probably 36 day cycle. Normally normal flow for the first 2 days then lighter the 3rd day, spotting the 4th and then done.
I never really spot before a period.
This month however something weird is going on. It was a 47 day cycle then I started spotting brown blood for 3 or 4 days then for the last 11 days I have been bleeding bright red blood but lightly.
Nothing like this has happened to me before. I thought maybe it was because I've been on a diet and losing weight since the new year?
My life is very stressful but always has been and its never affected my periods before. Neither has dieting in the past.
Has anyone else had a weird period like this?
Not sure if I should contact the GP at this point as I've been bleeding for a while but i keep hoping it'll stop!
