Perimenopause/menopause skin break outs

have always had fairly good skin, until this latest chapter. Now I am constantly getting tiny white spots in the crease of my nose, but only on one side. They appear daily, about four or five at a time. Glamorous.

I am using a salicylic acid gel cleanser from Medik8. Is there anything else I can do? Does HRT help? My skincare routine is otherwise the same, moisturiser, retinoid at night and hyaluronic acid in the morning.

Has anyone else had this? Has anything actually helped? It is like being a teenager all over again, just without the youthful glow to compensate.

Niacinamide after cleansing and azelaic acid and retinol (they both unclog pores) after nightly cleansing (alternate though, not on the same night and have a couple of nights off) can help. I think the highest azelaic acid you can get otc is 15% though, don’t bother with the 10%.
