C Section Scar

Hi, I’ve had three C-sections, the last one 15 years ago. Recently, my scar has become red and itchy. I’ve had infections in the scar over the years but this is different. It’s not the whole scar just the very end on my right side (this is where all the previous infections have been). I’ve also noticed a small indentation like a hollow part just underneath the scar, like a fingertip size. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Is it normal? Should I see my GP?

Not a medic. With a 15yr old scar, personally, I'd try some hydrocortisone and/ or canesten cream on it.

It might be worth putting in an e-consult though, as I can't imagine what the indentation looks like or could be.

(I've had 2 c-sections and a hysterectomy along the same line. The first healed as a horrible huge red itchy keloid scar, but was cut out during the second section. Silicone strips worked wonders for scars 2&3 at the time of healing.)
