I’m looking at buying some new bedding as I’m going through another stage of hot flushes. Wondering if anyone has a cooling blanket or can recommend material that worked for you.

Lyocell / Tencel are cool fabrics.

I have nice bedding but I wrap my feet in a large pet cooling mat or lie on top of one - it is surprisingly comfy as it is very cool without being too icy and has a gel in it so it is soft. They come in lots of sizes and you may not need to wash your sheets as much as it may help a lot with hot flushes.

Same, I also have two smaller pet cooling matts that I lay on, my pillow, I find if my head is cooler the flushes are not so bad.

For hot flushes, go for cotton percale, linen, or bamboo/Tencel blankets these are breathable and wick moisture. Avoid heavy synthetics that trap heat. A lightweight quilt or cooling blanket helps more than thick duvets. Cooling mattress toppers or tech blankets can also regulate temperature effectively.

Some great suggestions here. I never thought of a pet cooling mat! I didn’t even know these were a thing. But I don’t have a pet so it never crossed my mind. Might get one and try it out - I’m willing to try anything I’m at that stage now. Time for some breathable fabrics. Thanks everyone.
