Has anyone experienced abx interfering with periods? Nothing on the NHS or “official” data that seems to confirm this (that I can see, anyway, maybe I’m looking in the wrong place)
the reason I ask is because I started my period on a Sunday morning (6 days is my usual length).
I then had to start a 7 day course of erythromycin on Monday night.
I should have finished my period latest Friday. Which kind of happened, but from Friday - Wednesday I’ve had brown spotting. This isn’t like me and wondering if it was abx related? Because I was taking them until Monday night.
I guess time will tell and I’ll keep monitoring it, but wondering if anyone has had a similar experience with antibiotics?
