Trying to track my period but need some help?

Trying to track my periods at the big old age of 41 😬
Ive downloaded an app and put the date of my last period in (Xmas day) so when my period started on Monday I updated my app and I think im suppose to update again when it’s finished. But here’s my problem.. I’m on day four and there’s been no blood since yesterday evening, but this happens every month. I bleed for 3 days, stop for a day then it starts back up for a day or two then finishes. So what I’m asking is if I stopped bleeding yesterday is that the end of my period or do I wait until it starts and stops again before updated this bloody app 🤷🏻‍♀️ can’t get a clear answer online so asking here for some help because I feel like I should know the answer but I’m clueless. Thanks

Not an expert but if that is your usual pattern, I would wait to see when you do actually finish before logging the end of your bleed. Does that app let you log the heaviness of the bleeding or make manual notes per day?

Try the Balance app. I use that since peri started.

You just add to it on the days you bleed and choose the heaviness as needed. You can also add notes each day - those are the entries with dots next to them.You’ll see this example where I had spotting mid cycle (had it before, all normal). So you can see at a glance when it started and when it finished and anything in between.

Are you an Apple user? I use the cycle app within the health section and you can update like the balance app with notes etc
