Hi everyone I’m 13 weeks pp and still having a bit of pain towards the end of the day or if I do too much I saw a doctors 3 weeks ago (male no female gps) and he said it looked fine just a bit red and a little bit of granulation tissue that wasn’t a issue cause that wasn’t causing me pain. Fast forward to today I’m still having some pain not as bad but still there and also had a few random days of odd bit of red blood on the tissue (not from inside from the scar)
sex is also a no go can’t even get it in.
saw a gp again today (female) and she’s referred me to the gyno because she can see I’ve got a small hole/opening on my scar she said the wait list is months long and it might heal on its own before then.
Has anyone experienced the same?

If finances permit I would see a gynaecologist privately. The Gp could give you a referral letter. I suggest this as waiting times for gynae in many areas are miles long and such birth injuries need attention sooner rather than later. It’s already impacting on your sex life and you’ve been bleeding too.

@AttilaTheMeerkat by going private would I need to have a consultation first then a further appointment if they need to do anything? Just trying to work out how much it would cost

I think you would have to phone them directly in order to gauge costs. Whatever you decide to do this is worth sorting and sooner rather than later for better outcomes.
