Strong period pains but no period

I’m 48 and in Peri-menopause. I have a Nexplanon implant and I’m on HRT. For the last three weeks I’ve been experiencing strong period cramps but no bleeding. Anyone have a similar experience. Should I be worried?

Have no words of wisdom for you OP but am following this with interest as I seem to cramp for anything up to 2 weeks before my period now I’m in peri. I find my periods are also much heavier on the early days than they used to be.
