Spotting a week before period is due - WARNING PICTURE INCLUDED

hiya! im new to this, so apologies if I’ve posted in the wrong topic. i wondered if anyone has experienced this, is it a normal thing etc.

i usually spot a few days before my period is due. this cycle however i have had spotting on the 14th,15th,16th and 17th (my period is due on the 24th)

first day of spotting was extremely light and only when wiping, it was a beigey colour. the 15th was a very light pink mixed/tinged in my with usual discharge. the 16th was a tiny speck of red mixed in with my usual discharge. and today’s well i will attach a pic im not sure how to describe it 🤣

i supposedly ovulated on the 9th however its not something i track at the moment. (i will also add i’ve always had a large amount of discharge for as long as i can remember)

Could you be pregnant? I seem to remember this sort of thing happening with my second pregnancy.

i did have a few occasions with my partner i’d say 3-4 days before my predicted ovulation day, however i don’t see it as much as a possibility as i don’t really track ovulation

do you remember what your spotting was like? it’s a bit odd as i had that spotting shown in the picture this morning and my discharge has gone back to normal now

It was very much like you show, over a few days. I think it was implantation bleeding. It stopped and I waited for my period to arrive but despite the usual aches beforehand it never did arrive. Did a test and It was positive.

ahhh i see, i did have some irritating cramps last night and thought maybe my period was coming early but the same thing appeared this morning and i’ve just had normal discharge since

so I’m due my period in 2 days and this morning I thought it started as I had a bit of flow in my pants, put a pad on and it’s been dry since morning :0

How old are you ?

What relevance has that got?

Quite a lot considering age and hormones effect cycles

It's a normal question when working out menstrual cycles and issues.

And I’m surprised it hasn’t been asked already
