Hormone Screening

Has anyone had it? I guess privately rather than NHS.

Google suggests at-home tests can be done for under £100.

I’m curious to get an idea of what levels my hormones are at, I guess to see whether there is anything askew, but as hormones can change almost daily, I’m not sure how accurate it would be.

Does anyone have any experience?

You can get an inexpensive home test in Asda but any hormone test only gives a snapshot of where you are at the moment you take the test, as you know. If you think you’te a bit young for Peri then maybe it could be useful but otherwise not sure what you would do with the information.

I think it’s come from me noticing peaks and troughs through the month. I have some great days where I feel motivated and energetic, and other days when I have just enough energy to get through the day. I know it’s normal but I wondered if there’s anything I could do to reduce the extremes and try and feel at least a bit more consistently through the month. I’m at the point where I don’t know how I’ll feel one day to the next and it’s frustrating
