Mammogram with breast implants

Anyone had experience of this? I had breast augmentation eight years ago and have not been for breast screening since then as I’m nervous of how implants could be affected. I had the implants done for cosmetic reasons.

Speak to your GP they may do an ultrasound instead

I've had two mammograms and had implants for cosmetic reasons 20 years ago. They do tell you the images aren't as clear with implants, the mammogram isn't exactly a comfortable experience but you can still go and have your breasts checked and they would still recommend you go.
