Uncomfortable mooncup

I used a mooncup on and off before and between pregnancies, but I’ve had 3 pregnancies and long periods of bf, so admittedly not for huge amounts of time in the last few years. I reverted to tampons and period pants after my final pregnancy but got to the point of perimenopause and even super plus extra tampons plus pants were struggling for the first 2 days, so I ordered a new mooncup. I cup the stem entirely, but am struggling with comfort…
its fair to say I’m comfortable with my vagina, so this isn’t a case of that. I do have a low cervix, and I have previously tried a cup that was more like a bowl and that was a complete failure.
Unless I am very lucky/thorough, I can feel the end of the mooncup almost scraping my labia all the time. I do have times I can get it higher and it’s comfortable, but it’s not common. I’d like to believe/hope this isn’t a pelvic floor issue but am keen for advice please.
(if still required, I was here for a decent length of time 12/13 years ago, not sure what references are still valid but t-rexxing comes to mind).

I think some women trim the stem of their moon cups.

There are different brands, and as we're all a bit different, especially after childbirth not, no one mooncup will suit every woman, so a different brand might help.

Also a different size might make a difference.

I have to completely remove the stalk on mine and make sure it is sitting very high so it doesn’t hurt

Turn it inside out.
