Who do I contact about episiotomy pain? I’ve read some people rang their midwife and some went to doctors but I’ve been discharged by my midwife at 4 weeks pp.
I’m 9 weeks PP, My scar hasn’t felt great it feels like there’s a lump where my scar is I can also see a bit of one also have a bit of pain when I’ve been doing a lot that day. I’ve been reading about granulation tissue and wondering if it’s that.
The other night we was getting busy and he could only fit one finger in and today We also tried to DTD tonight and he didn’t even get it in without me stopping him because I felt it starting to hurt. We used lots of lube too (I also have quite a lot of watery/stringy discharge since birth)
Should I contact someone about this?

Mine burst open with an infection and toon 5 months to heal and had a lump like you said which has gone now, turns out to be a cyst. I was under a care team. Go to the GP and get a referral. They can heal a little funny towards the end. It’s ok to seek help, it shouldn’t hurt now during sex so maybe you need some support down there and that’s ok. The sooner you get it seen too the better. Hope you fully heal well sooon xx
