Bleeding is getting me down!

I’ve been spotting/bleeding for since ovulation, I’m now on day 12 of this and feeling so so down about it. It’s enough so I’ve had to use a normal size pad every day, but my period isn’t due to officially start for another few days.

I’ve had lots of texts and examinations and gyno concluded it’s due to hormonal fluctuations. But I just feel so crap about it , both mentally and physically.

Has anyone else had this issue and what do you do to not feel so rubbish.

I’m similar to you, in that I bleed lightly around ovulation, but not for as long as you’ve said (maybe 2-3 days). I do get a fair amount of pain with it and often have to take paracetamol.

Earlier this year, I had a private scan, because the pain was very bad and I was convinced something was wrong. Nothing was found during the scan, or blood tests.

My theory is that science and medicine still doesn’t know enough about women’s reproductive systems to be able to tell us what’s happening. That doesn’t mean there isn’t anything wrong. I hope you turn a corner and start to feel better. Don’t be afraid to keep going to GP and/or asking for more referrals to gynaecologists.
