Vaginal dryness - Ovesse

I’m not menopausal however I have vaginal dryness. Lube helps but friction during sex is still painful. I also use a hormone free vaginal moisturiser but it’s still not enough. I have seen a pelvic floor therapist to help relax muscles / tension which definitely helped but still getting friction pain during sex.

After doing some research I don’t think topical estrogen will raise my systemic levels, so shouldn’t be a high risk.

The only topical that is OTC is ‘Ovesse’ but online pharmacies still expect you to be over 50 and not had a period in 12 months.

is it bad if I just lie on the form to get it?

I know common sense would be to see a Dr but I can’t go private and it seems impossible for me to get a GP appointment in my area. I can’t stress this enough so don’t want to wait around. (When I had recurrent UTI’s and bloody urine the same colour of red wine all I got was telephone appointment from 111 still not offered appointment by my actual GP clinic despite chasing)

Personally I wouldn’t lie to get any medical product . I had an interview with the hospital pharmacist for this on Friday and still need to speak to a Dr because he asked me if I had yellow eyes / skin in relation to liver and I don’t but he told me to read the list of things you shouldn’t take it with and one of them was fatty liver which I have mildly . Like you getting a Dr appointment is hard so I will go privately as I’ve done before . A note of good news when sorted is that some people had reported good results with Ovesse .

Why can't you get a gp appointment? Are you not registered with a surgery?
