thickened womb lining and cysts - panicking!

hi all
wondering if anyone can help/reassure me! I am 50, perimenopausal and on HRT (sequential oestrogen and Provera 12 days per month). Have had irregular bleeding/ long periods that stop and start and saw the dr who referred me for a US transvaginal scan. First scan had showed normal womb lining and a 4 cm simple cyst, 2nd scan 8 weeks later showed 8mm lining and cyst slightly larger. Two weeks ago I had a blood test and biopsy on the womb lining on the 2 week pathway. Called to chase the hospital for the results today and they said the consultant was away and they would maybe get back to me next week. But then at 6pm today (Friday) I had a text asking me to go for another scan. Totally panicked because I don't know why, and as it's now the weekend there's no one I can ask about it. No sign of the biopsy results. Help! has anyone else been through this? Why would they call me for another scan? Do you think this means bad news?

Would recommend downloading the NHS app, transvaginal/trans abdominal scans appear on there for me and you can read the full reports, likely the same for you. Would think you would get a biopsy result before a request for another scan. I hope that you have had some clarification.
