I'm a ftm so have nothing to refer back to and just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this as I'm spiralling quite a bit.
I had my baby back at the start of August. Had a period mid September that lasted a few days then about 2 weeks later had another light period. 3 weeks so around 22nd I October period was back, however it lasted just under a week then I was spotting for a few days. It then disappeared for a week, returned on 8th November for a week I've then had spotting for 4/5 days and now it's back again very light. I know they can be a bit all over the place but I don't think this is normal?
I am due a smear test due to HPV being detected last year and it was booked for next week. I now have urgent keyhole surgery on Tuesday and the smear is booked for Friday. My pre op nurse suggested to rearrange the smear just due to surgery recovery (although is different part of the body) but I want to go ahead as I'm panicking due to the above. I'm also worried they won't be able to even do the smear if my period/spotting is still ongoing. I don't know what to do
I am terrified that I might have cervical cancer. Im probably being overdramatic but you read so much and hear so much. I haven't said anything to my husband about all this as I don't want to worry him.
