Dermoid cyst

Hello . I’m being pushed around by gyne who following the find of a dermoid cyst at the begging of September have not sent what action is next and have asked the gp to re refer to them! Anyone had results/action when a dermoid was found and how big was it ? ( I suspect they will say it’s not big enough and to leave it )

Mine was in my ovary and removed by keyhole surgery

It grew to 11cm by the time I got round to it 😲 - much bigger and it would have had to have been conventional surgery which is a much bigger deal when it comes to recovery - you don't want that, and they do grow so suspect they'll want to remove it.

They are usually benign but they do also need to check nothing nasty is lurking.

Mine had hair! But disappointingly no teeth...

Thanks so far I’m about to complain as gyne have asked for a re referral from the gp to find out what they are doing ! I’m so cross
