I’m late by a week on my period. I came on yesterday. I have heavy periods anyway and got worse with age, pregnancy etc. I’ve jsut went to change my pad and I have seen this. It’s nearly the size of my pad . Has anyone got any clue what it is or do I need to book a gp appointment? I did think clot but it doesn’t look like that as it’s all fleshy and greyish aswell.

Google decidual cast images

Can't see the photo yet, but, yes, the description sounds like a decidual cast.

DitzyDerbyBabe86 · 02/11/2025 20:07

Decidual cast I’m guessing?

I don’t know what they are but I get them with heart every period I have!

These are also normal for me OP, but if you are concerned and it’s abnormal for you, then a Dr appointment may be a good idea?

I get chunks of tissue like this every period every month, I have very newly diagnosed endometriosis, PCOS and fibroids - no advice on what to do about it mind you!
But this is my normal. If it’s not normal for you and you’re concerned go and speak to your GP.
