Complicated Hystoscopy experiences

Hi wondered if anyone had any experiences I am booked in for a hystoscopy to remove a fibroid and place a coil next week I'm having a general anesthetic as I have had previous surgery to my cervix so they have said it might be difficult to dilate also although fibroid isn't huge it isn't tiny either 2.5cmx 3.5cm I think. Does anyone have any experiences with similar and what recovery was like? as when I google I get lots of people who seem to have had a quick hystoscopy under local or who had fibroids out laproscopically and not much in between. Dr has said 3-5 days off work but then I'm in a high stress job which involves me working in the community and going to people's houses etc so if I have very heavy bleeding or cramps etc going to be tricky. Just any experiences welcome

I had a biopsy and polyp removal alongside a hysteroscopy under GA a month ago. Groggy the day of the op but minimal pain. Cramping like period pain. Hot water bottle soothed it. Watery bleeding on second day and back to work on 3rd in similar job as yours.
