Early 40s contraceptive options

Thinking about outloud here and also it’s a moot point as I’m two years celibate almost.

Thinking about what I’d do contraception wise if I ever manage to get that side of life going one day. I don’t want to use anything hormonal and I’m not going through the coil again. Had a copper one taken out a couple of years back. It was ok, but hurt like hell having it in and fairly sure I don’t want to go through that again.

I guess that just leaves the snip or condoms. I’ve not had periods in a few years and had abnormal result from LH FSH bloods backing that up, so I assume ovaries have shut up shop anyway, but you never know I guess. I’m early 40s. Wouldn’t want to run any risks in that sense in case they kickstarted and successfully produced a random egg!

Following! I'm not on hormones either but have trouble with condoms so doesn't leave much options that i know of 😂
