Tranexamic Acid help

Hi. I usually take Tranexamic acid from the start of my period, but since my flow was lighter yesterday and is only medium today, should I skip it or wait for heavier bleeding?

How quickly does it kick in for you? For me, it kicks in really quickly and slows the flow down within an hour or so. If it kicks in as quickly for you, I think skipping sounds a reasonable plan, if it doesn't I'd be a bit more cautious.

It takes a few hours to kick in for me.
A surprise month. Sometimes my periods were horrendous; they made me miserable, and I didn't want to go out.
